Elaine & John | Islandeady church & Breaffy House Hotel wedding

On St. Patricks day I had the pleasure of being a part of Elaine & John’s wedding. Being the day it was what colour would you have the bridesmaids wear but green. It was such a fun, laid-back day and these guys never stopped smiling from morning till night.

I actually bump into Elaine quite a bit at weddings as she’s one of the top wedding singers out there so I was chuffed to be asked to shoot their wedding. I love being at a wedding and seeing a few familiar faces from florists, musicians, wedding videographers to wedding coordinators. One reason I guess is because I spend most of the other days in a room behind a computer editing so it is nice to meet other wedding suppliers.

With Elaine being gifted with an amazing voice I had a feeling she may sing a song at some stage during the ceremony and she did. She pretty much had the whole church in tears and i’m sure a good few ladies were cursing her for ruining their mascara. I heard that there was plenty more singing later that night/morning after the wedding band had finished up.
