Catherine & Adrian | Bofeenaun church & Castlecourt hotel, Westport Mayo

It’s the first blog post of 2016 🙂 Here are a few photo highlights from Catherine & Adrian’s wedding in the beautiful village of Bofeenaun at the bottom of Nephin Mountain, Mayo.

It has happened so many times over the winter were the weather is terrible all day but somehow clears up just in time for a few outdoor wedding portraits with the bridal party. In this case we went to a planned location at a nearby lake despite the weather, but when we got there the sun started breaking though the clouds. As a result we were able to get some amazing wedding portraits. It couldn’t have worked out better 🙂  As we were on on the way to the hotel wedding reception in the Castlecourt  Westport, the rain returned and probably didn’t stop for the rest of the day.

Catherine & Adrian displayed some amazing little touches to their wedding day, including having all their guests hold sparklers as they entered the function room for the meal.
